Had the opportunity to tour the 2015 Canada Winter Games venues up in Prince George, BC last week with representatives from ViaSport. Sites look great, and the enthusiasm and energy of the games is already evident. Looking forward to seeing many of our second-year Television and Video Production students working to produce live shows on a daily basis!
Back from our summer break and back to work with our new first-year Television & Video Production students! Took advantage of amazing late-summer weather to start the second week of class with some hands-on exercises using our HPX-300 HD cameras!
Congratulations to the BCIT Television and Video Production class of 2014 from all of our Faculty!

Congratulations to BCIT TV Alumni Ryan Pears!
Another big awards night for a local animator. Ryan Pears and his team took Best Animated Web Series at the 2014 Vancouver Webfest Sunday. Pears, collaborating with Holly Pavlik and Travis Gingrich, have created an animated web series centred around a comedic look at the lives of two video game characters.
